By using TREK ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What TREK is

TREK is an informational travel-planning tool. An AI agent suggests real places and helps you assemble an itinerary. It is provided for personal, non-commercial planning use.

2. AI content — verify before you rely on it

Responses are generated by AI using data from third-party sources (Google Maps, Reddit, OpenStreetMap). They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. TREK does not provide professional travel, legal, health, or safety advice. Always verify opening hours, prices, availability, entry requirements, and safety yourself before booking or travelling.

3. Affiliate links

Some booking links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. We are not the seller and are not responsible for third-party bookings, which are governed by the partner's own terms.

4. Accounts

You may sign in with Google to save journeys. You are responsible for activity under your account. Anonymous use is limited to a small number of messages per session.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service or bypass rate limits.
Don't use it for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
Don't attempt to extract other users' data or the underlying data at scale.

We may suspend access that violates these terms.

6. Third-party services

The service relies on and links to third parties (Google, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Travelpayouts, booking partners). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TREK and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
